They didn't know the exact location, but they said it will be one of the following: Luxembourg, Switzerland, France, Germany.

I'm not from UK, but maybe this will help: there are very few flights directly to Maastricht. You could fly to Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Brussels, Cologne or Dusseldorf and take a train to Maastricht.
