You don't say where you were working previously or where in Europe you are now looking but in the UK you will find it very difficult to get any kind of flyng job without either IR, ME or FI ratings....

Yes. Even though I specified helicopter pilot only I seem to get 3 or 4 per day for B737 positions in Korea or Sheet Metal workers in USA. It needs some tweaking I think.
