Are you seriously a pilot on B777. IDLE on approach? Around 25feet RA is when IDLE engages. And briefing everything under the sun, people really should ignore your NONSENSE.

Most of what you've said is nonsense. Thrust and attitude even when the A/THR is in IDLE mode will get you out of trouble. Any manual input on the A/THR when they are in IDLE Will DISCONNECT them...
