Has anyone seen a summer program for Prestwick? Is it going to continue to be just one, two or 3 rotations per day (passenger flights) or will it get busier ?

Sunday looks pretty quiet with only one departure...

Sunday looks pretty quiet with only one departure in the day before 1600, but then 10 movements in just 2 1/2 hours!(6 in 4 out)... then... nothing.

I guess its cost effective to fit everything...

I won't even pretend to know how the airport finances run, but, with income from Ryanair reduced by over 50% and no reduction in airfield operating costs..... how big a loss are the airfield owners...

This is exactly my point, not busy at all. 5 in and 5 out in 30 min would be busy but not spread over the whole afternoon and evening. Thats on average one in or out every hour.

Back in the 90s...

Thanks for the link to http://www.egpk.com its a really good site. It does also confirm how quiet the airport is though and the types of traffic don't really warrant or need controlled airspace....

I just had a look at the departures/arrival board...

I just had a look at the departures/arrival board for Prestwick and was stunned to see only 4 scheduled departures, 0635, 0725,1535 and 2115. There are only one departure and one arrival in the 9-5...
