Coventry Airport will be closing at 1930 hours on Thursday 24th December, re-opening at 0900 hours on Saturday 2nd January....

loss v/s pax

I guess loosing £2.626,496 in 2004 during the start up with 462,368 pax would be expected. and in 2005 £1,062,887 loss with 719,473 pax was looking ok (only loosing £1.50 per passenger).

Coventry Airport queues are the shortest

Surely an odd thing to put on the airport website !

2 flights separated by 7h 30min today

Clearly no passengers means no queues.

Is it cost effective for Coventry to provide all the services...

A bit odd, the website is neither showing departures nor arrivals for today. Guess the website must be down? Or is Monday a quiet day?

I have just looked at the airport website and can only see one departure after 0730 for the rest of today and only three arrivals and one of those is the Jersey route which I hear is being dropped....
