I very much doubt we'll see an order for A321s! They may be the closest in size to the 757, but with the decline of so many operators and tour operators, an exact replacement isn't so necessary. ...

I can assure you that the 320 is currently being considered to replace the few 757s that are coming to the end of their leases. My money is on the 737 as the long term replacement though.
