(a)My poor memory of early construction picture showed two rear pivots well aft.
(b)even so, loss of control stiffness would likely lead to flutter to destruction...

Edges of fuselage clearance holes unlikely to act as movement...

I suggest Hs no longer constrained Flipping straight to 90 degrees ,little pitch moment to airframe, only colossal drag.#
Support still there? where is the screwjack?

How about this....
HS Screwjack,, or support structure distorts/ disconnects for some reason
(One possible reason could be jackscrew thread or JS Nut thread worn and stripped)
HS now located only...

Took that long for a loose back end beginning to flutter and eventually tear screw jack loose, then flip flap

I thought I saw something in a news picture looked like the starboard H.S
sticking...

Falling aircraft---

This is about distance travelled after event .Variously reported as 15km/25miles.
Tracking data unreliable but included 80 knots G.Spd
at that speed vertically perhaps several minutes to reach...

Tail section including fin and rear doors

I cant help seeing that clean break across the top of rear fuselage former (or construction joint) looks like a fatigue zip failure'
If this had ailowed flex of the whole tail ,what would sudden...

Fin reduced to a stub.
Not ripped or graunched by the inverted ground contact you suggested.
Very clear in...
