But that doesn't explain all the actions of the captain. If he thought the FO was doing the right thing, the captain wouldn't have touched his own sidestick. He would have let the FO fly the plane.

Surely that should not be necessary? All the captain has to do is declare he has control of the aircraft. It's fairly obvious that he knew what to do and the FO didn't.

I think you'll find that even young human ears can't hear anything above 20 kHz. CDs are sampled at 44.1 kHz, over twice the highest perceptible frequency to humans. This ensures lossless recording....
