Fighters were scrambled early and were on it...

Fighters were scrambled early and were on it pretty fast ( from nearby Orange AFB) but they came too late, There were the ones that gave the exact crash position to ATC/SAR.

Last normal communication from the crew was one min before start descent.
then nothing.
It is quite traumatic for a controller I can tell you when you watch an aircraft you...
