As Hot and Hi says, wearing a helmet is a no brainer. The main benefits I see is that it saves your hearing and your eyesight. It saves your hearing on a daily bases and your eyesight for that...

Just my two pennies worth but the helmet not only protects your head during an impact but it saves your hearing on a day to day basis if you intend to do a lot of flying.

In my job I have to wear a helmet it's the law but I am not worried about the accident bit and therefore saving my bonce but more like saving my hearing thanks to the better insulation against noise...

I haven't worn any glasses under the helmet, but I would have thought with the gel earcups that would not be a problem. You can also buy little bridges/cushions for the glasses.

I have been wearing ym Eagle for 18 months it's my first helmet and I have not had any problems with it. And in my workplace we have another 4 wearing the eagle and they haven't complained either....

I have been wearing the Alpha Eagle for 12 months now and I was new to helmets. I have no complains and mine came with a cloth interior which soaks up the sweat and does not let it run down the front...
