Any hints that the seasonal NQY could be extended into the winter on a reduced schedule. I know previously it was hinted at and then didn't happen.

BE HAJ-BHX has diverted to EDI ?

Iv no issue with diversions for safety but is EDI the closest airport prepared to accept them ? Couldn't they divert to say BRS, CWL or EXT ?

Certainly the Ek news is good for punters further afield than BHX. Don't forget that BE are tied in to offer connections via the flybe network with Ek flights at LGW, MAN, BHX etc.

Then again, I also wonder how close it was to the route going double daily on some days...

Wasn't GLA-NQY operated by Logan for flybe on the S340 ? Rather than the Q ? So 34 seats v 78 ?

I agree however that GLA-NQY is missing from the NQY schedules and also EDI being just once a week...

Think NQY-BHX could do nicely as a fill in route. Looking at the prices ongoing, some very high and some low would suggest a mixed load, some days high, some low.
