Last year I think EI sold quite a few of their seats to tour operators and consolidators. Not sure if that's still the case but if so it would certainly bring the yield down on the sun routes....

I'd rather have EI at BHD than the Harper's at BFS. Funny to watch the UTV waffle on this one. EI's cost base is actually not bad. The idea that this is the reason behind their decision is tenuous....

Seems like a lot of hassle to close a base only to re-open it 6 months later although Thomson run a summer only operation at BFS but it's 24/7 while open.

Flybe's 195's are all but gone. They won't have any jets in Belfast and very few left in their network come February. Their jet crews are all on redundancy notice so they won't be doing BHD-REU.
