The other half went through T3 security recently, unfortunately she put her
clear plastic bag on the bottom of the tray with her coat over the top.

Result tray pulled out for further security...

Thinking back to the queue at passport control,...

Thinking back to the queue at passport control, their is usually
a airport employee,I think,but could be border control directing you to the scanners,
while the snake line remains empty.

Past through Term. 1 & 3 of late, and was directed to the scanners
every time, while passport control staff sat at their empty desks
and just watched, despite a build up of people at the scanners....

Agree with Bagso post number 655.

The guy from Cathay in the article refers twice to Manchester being in the
North East.

Just as well the pilots know where they are going.
