I remember Bristows having a Boelkow in the hangar @1978 from lighthouse duty. I had never seen a helicopter with more wear and tear and cracks in it, ever, and haven't seen one in that bad shape...

Flew the predecessor to the CBS for a few years in the '70s. Rigid rotor. In turbulence the thing will do anything but let you loose - you can get sick in the thing (NOT joking). Long blade moment...
