MAN-BAH on QR?

Surely a filing error - I can see no schedules loaded - but the GDS is showing a flight to Bahrain operated by Qatar.

Anyone know anything?

Rouge seem to be starting a couple of long haul flights form YVR - two to Japan and one to DUB.

AC mainline would be nice, though.

I've seen suggestions elsewhere that SQ have begun to block off F class sales on routes that are moving to A350 service...

And now it looks like MAN's F cabin is blocked off for travel from 1 Feb....

QR Increase to 16 per week

I think this was rumoured but have not seen an official confirmation - Qatar look to be increasing to 16 per week from 2 May next year.

Schedules in the GDS show two more morning...

I assume in addition to IAD and EWR...

QR 332 vs 333

Not 100% sure why either - but QR almost always seem to load the 332 as default for all services, year round, and then substitute up to the 333 for periods of (what I assume are) high demand.

EY A346 - and QR too!

EY looks like the A346 is for the first three weeks of Nov.

They have F class, yes, but are a reduction of 20% in J and nearly 30% Y capacity.

Then there's a mixture of 332 and 77W all through...

Interesting data on another forum, quoting MIDT data for pax numbers from Europe to HKG over the last 12 months.

MAN comes 5th after mighty LHR, CDG, AMS and FRA.

Trying to steer away from emotion, and towards statistics, I see on one of the route prospecting sites that MAN had 56,000 indirect passengers to Beijing in 2011, and 36,000 leakage to London.

EK21/22 is showing as a 332 for winter 15/16 in the GDS (although still showing 77W on EK.com).

Early days of course, plenty of time for it to revert to 77W....but as it's unlikely we're getting...
