Yes it is. The FAO route has to eventually fly to the Southwest rather than the South, and joins the airway system around Compton (West of LHR). To be honest, it only fly's North as far as...

The runway at Southend is narrower than standard...

The runway at Southend is narrower than standard - 37m instead of 45m, therefore (for EZY at least) the crosswind limits are lower than they would be at an airfield equipped with a standard width...

When Heavylift put the A300 in, I believe it was towed off the runway?

From what little I can see online I would have...
