Hmmm...tried that, but when I log on to the App store it still goes to the French version. A number of Apple forums say that it always defaults to the language of the country your account credit card...

App store language setting

My wife has a shiny new ipad 3 and we have come across a problem with the App store.

It seems that the language that is displayed is linked to the country that the users credit card is...
