To get some NI cadets in the air I am taking 24 cadets to Leuchars for two days next week, at least they will have a chance of flying there unlike our usual shopping trips to Liverpool, sorry AEF...

Could the BGA cope with an additional 41,000 cadets ? I am fairly certain the UGC couldn't cope with 400 and there are no other suitable gliding sites here.

More the fact they leave the CCF when they finish school at 18 though saying that two of the staff at my local VGS ,including the CFI, were both CCF who stayed on as CGIs at 18.

Leon, Bellarina is only suitable for aerotow and the only other GA airfield in NI is Enniskillen and that is not suitable for winch gliding as it is as busy as Newtownards.
