And there lies a problem of HFDM ...... mobile vessels / rigs are not fixed landing runways - the deck heading is not known by the system at the time!!? Shelly you know that?!

Sorry but these are remarks from a retired or office-bound pilot ...... if the crane was there he would have hit it on approach BEFORE landing ....... the CAP437 notes are for ensuring...
