Think they now call him the Pilot Monitoring ...... but surely the PF is the primary man scanning the instruments - PM backs up whilst also head in and out searching for the visual clues....

Listen to the offshore worker who refuses to go on a SP presently - used to only having 13 / 14 on board but now chokkablok with 19 and he fears for an easy egress. L2 windows and seating arrangement...
