Nice to see something different coming in, but the previous 747 operator proved it isn't the best aircraft to start a route with, unless they are expecting to carry lots of cargo.

AA & MAEL

AA have to have a maintenance contract to operate the flights, the aircraft needs an ETOPS check before any flight across the pond so there isn't a choice other than which company gets the contract.
