Surely the point of having 757s as the spare...

Surely the point of having 757s as the spare aircraft is they can cover anything as they are the biggest in the fleet, there aren't currently any spare 738s anyway other than the newly acquired one...

Surely this would mean a massive reduction in passenger numbers as not only is the 733 much smaller than a 757 it will be load restricted on some of the longer routes too, possibly as many as 100...

I don't usually bite on posts like that but on what do you base this assumption? I've been on a few Jet2 757s and they have all been great inside, maybe not the newest examples but most customers...

The white and red livery looks better than the battleship grey, especially on the 757 IMHO
