That is good news on your first issue. It may be that some of the superfluous stuff all manufactures seem to think we all 'want' on our new machines are being interpreted as 'spy' by Spyhunter....

Virus scan?
If no to both I suggest you download Malwarebytes (Free) and run a scan.
