A figure of 8600T fuel capacity is often quoted. At 6.8lbs per US gallon for JP5, that's 2.832M gallons (US). But fewer budgies to drink it vs a Nimitz.

Noddy question -

What will happen to Invincible, Illustrious and Ark Royal? Sold/scrapped?

IIRC, Invincible was commissioned in 1978. That makes her 28 years old. The other two 4 or 5 years...
