I'm not saying there will be long haul aircraft based at PIK any time soon. PIK is the main heavy engineering facility for the whole Ryanair network, so they fix aircraft at PIK for all the bases....

Not only is the Ryanair hangar at PIK the one they are about to extend, one of the new bays is designed to take a wide body aircraft, 787 anybody?
No way will they be leaving PIK any time soon!...

I doubt if the BVA will drop to one a day. The pax no's are down on the PIK-BVA legs, but the aircraft actualy fly from PIK-BVA then on to OPO in the morning and to TSF in the afternoons, the onward...

You can't blame Ryanair for the airport loosing money. over the last 12 months PIK has lost almost all of it's major work except for the ryanair flights.
Ryanair are therefore keeping the airport...
