I'm not saying there will be long haul aircraft based at PIK any time soon. PIK is the main heavy engineering facility for the whole Ryanair network, so they fix aircraft at PIK for all the bases....

I doubt if the BVA will drop to one a day. The pax no's are down on the PIK-BVA legs, but the aircraft actualy fly from PIK-BVA then on to OPO in the morning and to TSF in the afternoons, the onward...

You can't blame Ryanair for the airport loosing money. over the last 12 months PIK has lost almost all of it's major work except for the ryanair flights.
Ryanair are therefore keeping the airport...
