Ryanair @ LDY January - August 2012

Hi,

By popular request, here are Ryanair's figures for the year so far, compared to the same period last year. Flights are up by over 10% (due to LPL, PIK and STN). Passengers are lagging behind,...

Good evening,

Sorry this is a bit late, as we're already well into 2012. Anyway, here are the passenger figures by route for the last 10 years:

FR LDY figures for the first half of the year

Good evening,

Here are the FR figures for the first half of the year (source: CAA). When calculating the flown loads I've assumed 189 seats per flight. Note the volcano effect in 2010. Still, the...

LDY-ALC

Hi,

Here's my take on LDY-ALC: Firstly, if the route has gone next summer, I hope that Ryanair can be persuaded to have a go at LDY-AGP or LDY-REU instead.

The chart and table below show the...

Kerry - Alicante frequency

(Apologies for the off-topic comment)

Hi cuthere,

Very true - ALC-KIR is 3x weekly in September, but then it goes back to 2x weekly in October. It seems odd because the AENA stats confirm that...

Spanish August figures

Hi AE,

Sorry, I don't think the load factor figures above (for Kerry) are correct. You can also find the numbers of movements on the AENA site.

For August:
ALC-NOC 4,490 pax, 26 flights = 91%...

LDY pax 2009

Hello,

Here's the updated chart for LDY. Obviously 2009 wasn't a particularly great year with the total number of passengers barely above the level achieved in 2006. Putting a more positive spin...

A note about FR LDY loads

Please note: The usual caveat regarding yields and loads applies to everything that I'm about to say.

Taking into account the payload restrictions at LDY, by my reckoning, average flown loads on...
