I agree Luton could pick up the 'red-eye' flights. Will the loss of BE LGW flights mean the loss of an based frame in IOM?

I think the EZY were cancelled because the previous sectors were running so far behind, remember, france & germany suffered from snow as well.
IOM was just the smallest cog in the days shedules.

Just talking to all my friends in IOM, although leisure, booked up a few flights well in advance for Foofball weekends etc.

Wouldn't be suprised to see EZY come on-line with MAN and later LTN. I'm afraid BE, your days are numbered unless you get your price/product right!

Whether IOM will cope with say 4 A319s at once...

This could all change when EZY start buying more airframes again, could be a mixed fleet again, downsize for thin routes and upscale for the push further outside europe.......but we will have to wait...

I thought this was already on record that if LGW works, MAN would be next? Will be dreadful at IOM if all depart at the same time though, already security can't cope on a Friday tea-time.

EZY would not be interested in any other routes, these would be the only ones to make money and fit their business model. They are a business and thus why would they look at any other routes?

Timings are not great for the IOM commuters, but it's a start, and a shot across the bows on Flybe. A Sunday Evening and Friday Evening would have been great for business & long weekenders, lets hope...

I can see the attaction of some MK business people but LTN has so much more to offer than Oxford as far as connections. JER...

Lets see how Flybe like this against their IOM - LTN - JER route. If it drives down prices great, but I know a few IOM residents use the route to connect to bucket & spade routes from Luton.

Southend, I doubt any Manx people would know where it is. LTN & LGW have been established for years now. EZY would be the wrong fit for such a route.
