The SOU airport timetable for 2016 has been published but it doesn't look particularly accurate. Flybe daily to Munich and only once a week to Lyon for example? Many other errors too...

Ryanair BOH lack of expansion in S16

Given total lack of Ryanair expansion at BOH for SUN routes this has probably given SOU confidence they can operate some for S16. This may explain the change of heart?

SOU and BOH should try to work together to complement each other. They should try and co-ordinate some sort of policy where business or high frequency routes go to SOU and leisure/LCC/longer haul...

That would be no problem if flybe were not taking up all the apron stands with dash 8-400s! When the 737, 757 and 320 used to operate from SOU it was a much quieter place...

I would be adding the following routes from Southampton:

Copenhagen - 5 weekly E-175
Knock - summer only E-195
Madrid - daily E-195
Prague 3 weekly E-175
Innsbruck - winter only E-175 ...

Southampton managed around 174,000 pax in Jul'12, but this was down 9% - the biggest fall the airport has seen I believe during the economic downturn.

Barcelona doesn't look as good as it should...
