I like realism. Fact is most w patterns into cvt would require a crew change and that is expensive. Its a shame that this puts smaller airports at a disadvantage but nothing can be done about...

The one big problem with w patterns though is the need to transfer crews back to their home base which can be rather expensive.

I suspect Thomson will continue to consolidate at their main bases...

The BOH base has had a number of charter flights...

The BOH base has had a number of charter flights added for next summer leaving only Palma and Malaga as high frequency routes, and even then at only 3xWeek

And crucialy no extra aircraft or 'w' patterns. These flights comes at the expense of frequencies to other destinations. Overall capacity will be flat

Sounds to me like Aer Arann to Galway and a German LoCo are on the way. As for Romania I guess Wizz Air, or maybe Blue Air, a Romanian LoCo

While many TOM charter routes have gone scheduled, they have also seen frequency increases, for example from once weekly to 4 times a week. So there is an increase in capacity

As good as it would be, I doubt CVT-DSA or CVT-HUY would work. Its not that far by car and the rail service from the West Midlands to Sheffield and Doncaster is good
