Sukhoi SSJ 100 in circuit

There has been a CityJet Superjet SSJ100 at Prestwick in the circuit last few days. Quite a nifty looking aircraft. Similar to EMB 170.

The main runway at PIK is changing its...

The main runway at PIK is changing its designation today from 31/13 to 30/12 due to magnetic variation. Look out for the paint trucks at either end of the runway changing the numbers.

Prestwick-Belfast was the shortest trip on FR route until it was pulled, an amazing 82m direct. I don't know if LDY is further than that or not.

There is a Cargolux 747-8F brand spanking new on the apron tonight. Can get quite close to it. Very shiny, new and big and also has the new red Cargolux livery. Very nice looking aeroplane.
