hmmm..

A340-600 dumps 1600kg/minute of fuel. so 380,000 - 265,000 = 115,000kg of fuel to be wasted. so 115,000 / 1600 = approx. 72 minutes..
if fire or dire emergency, no question asked, straight to overwt...

say, there are 3 waypoints, A, B, C on a straight line from south to north. then u decided not to fly overhead B, instead u wanna fly a heading of 060 from A for 10 miles, before going direct to C....

use automation...

if u have automation, why not? set the speed to mmo, and once it pass the transition level, it will maintain vmo.....
if u dont have automation, descend manually, and use your PNF to set whatever...

i dont know how much simpler u want it to be...

Single Engine : For Approach, use Flap 3. in case of a Go Around, retract 1 step/ retract to flap 2.:ok:

can anyone tell me, what's the difference between MALTOW and Allowed Weight For T/O (lowest of ZFW+TOF, MTOW/RTOW, and MLW+Trip Fuel). I wanna know what other airline define MALTOW... thanks!!
