It flew from Cairo. Destination unknown, but it sent a distress signal over Turkey and subsequently made inquiries about landing in one of Istanbul's airports.

It disappeared over Sea of Marmara.

Acft took off at Khartoum and filed for destination Odessa (UKOO) with an ETA of 1446UTC

Giving the last FR24 image, it Could have diverted to Tetirdag / Corlu AB.

The linked article doesn't appear to make any reference to the aircraft being missing, only that it transmitted an emergency.

No, FlightRadar24 lost it, which isn't the same thing at all.

I doubt very much that anyone who needed to know wasn't fully aware of its position at all times.
