Radisson Blu, Bamako - Islamist attack
News channels now reporting that gunmen have attacked the hotel and taken 170 occupants hostage. Explosions and gunfire heard.
BBC says that the hotel is used by Air France staff.
This is now becoming a depressingly regular feature of 21st century life.
