Below is an entry from Wiki: (the pilots most likely were Tunisians)

Mauritania Airways S.A.
is an airline based in Mauritania. The company was established in December 2006, and made its first flight on 7 November 2007.[1] It replaced Air Mauritanie, the former national airline, which suffered from prolonged financial difficulties and was finally liquidated in October 2007.[2] Mauritania Airways is a joint venture between Mauritanian and Tunisian interests: Tunisair owns 51 percent, Mauritanian businessman Mohamed Ould Bouamatou owns 39 percent, and the government of Mauritania owns 10 percent
