Question KAC selling the 747-200's?

Not to belabour the question on the KAC Jurassics, but latest news is that 9K-ADB and ADD are being/have been sold to a Sheikh in Dubai for a cargo outfit. Is this true or on the cards?

I'd imagine the poor chaps who joined the Kuwaiti Flying Club to crew the 747 lease for the Indonesian Hadj last Oct/Nov are ****ting themselves now. Where is security, now? Who's going to crew the Dubai start-up?

Any verification on this, am interested in getting back to the UAE.

Talking

Last I heard pal, was both A/C are heading to China in the next week or so to have the interiors refurbished.
On return to KWI towards the end of June they are to used on the LHR-JFK service during the summer season through mid September.
Then it's off to the far east for a contract with an Asian carrier.
