Why mention DAS, l know you put a question mark, but the link you put has the following.
But the management of the airline has denied that any of its aircrafts is involved in any incident yesterday.
Until more info or pictures, it would be better to leave airlines name out of comment.

Do bear in mind that not EVERY large three-engined Ugandan-registered cargo aircraft is necessarily a DC-10.... there has been another type kicking about down there with a 5X- prefix since January.
Best not to tarnish one airline, especially as we dont even know for certain the type of aircraft that came to "grief".

Just been up to LOS to meet an owner about some work....still there at midday today, company called Panalpina trying to offload the cargo....
Looks a bit out of shape....unlikely that it can be properly repaired here so yet another scrapper to add to the wonderful collection that is LOS - anyone know how long the Hydra 747 has been here ? Two years to my knowledge !
Not surprised about happenings - arrived here Tuesday from Accra and yesterday's storms were bad even by Nigerian standards.

I was referring to the thread in the "african section" here, where someone dropped the name and the type as well. so, it was no wild guess at all.
Never intended to bother anyone here, but bwear in mind that this is a "RuNe"-forum here, where I read lots of gossip and unproven information.
best, readywhen
