What's a man to do then? No boats, planes, trains, cars and now even our lurve juice is no longer needed to propagate the species - nothing to do, all day long.

I wonder if I should buy shares in Dignitas?

One is reminded of the cautionary tale in the Engineer's Song.

In the early 70's my science teacher told the class that by 2000 robots would run everything and we would not have to work, we would spend all our time in leisure activities.

I asked him a question, "If no one is working how will they be able to afford to pay for the leisure activities". The look on his face told me that he knew that I knew he was TAPS.

Brave new world.

Just read something on LinkedIn that cooking is not likely to be taken over by robots.
Actually there are lots of vacancies in the Netherlands.
Perhaps we should relocate the eggbeaters?

Cheers SLB
