Breeze eastern hoist

Hi All,

I am after a little advice on the use of an older model Breeze-eastern hoist P/n. BL16600-120-3.
I would like to know if this hoist would be considered well past it's best before date, even if it's maintenance were current? My limited understanding is times have moved on from this model with multi-speed winching, redundant limit switches, etc.
Is there anyone with current knowledge on type able to provide some information whether they are still used currently or basically out-dated?
Thanks in advance....

That model is still on their web site and appears to be in production and supported. It is only 300 lbs so is pretty much a one person at a time hoist and is suggested as a "back-up" hoist or a hoist for smaller helicopters.

Cheers Roscoe1,

They are supported, I'd really like to know if they are still widely used...
