Four dead in SMURD H135 crash in Moldova
New FlightGlobal accident alert - An Airbus Helicopters H135 of SMURD Air Ambulance (believed to be 347 msn 1172) crashed at Haragis, Moldova on June 2, 2016, killing all four on board. The helicopter was operating a flight from Iasi, Romania to Vulcanesti, Moldova to collect a patient for transport to a hospital in Chisinau. The accident happened at around noon in poor weather with reduced visibility in heavy rain and fog, strong gusting winds and an overcast ceiling being reported. Some witnesses report seeing the helicopter 'flying low' shortly before the crash.
