Flyboard Air

Flyboard Air, the first test flight.

http://youtu.be/KEDrMriKsFM

Facts from an TV interview with the inventor/pilot.
Ceiling of 2000 meters, 90mph max speed. Has 4 engines but can fly with 3.
Fuel in tank worn on his back, throttle (elevation) controlled by a wireless pistol grip, direction by weight shifting.
Has stability tech.
1000 horsepower!
4 years in making.

First hovered around 5 weeks ago, first manned flight flew 3 weeks ago.
Pilot is ex jet ski champion.
He thinks that it is years away from public use but envisages its use initially for marketing and maybe creating a race series like the red bull air races.

Flyboard is their registered trademark.
