All change at Humberside

Any truth in the rumour The Yellow perils are leaving Humberside?

For the uninformed that's NHV.

Also a long shot on Bristows also shuting up shop at Humberside but I find that one really hard to believe as I think they own Humberside.

Both on a Perenco contract...

Answers on a post card please....

Perenco have just pulled the 90-day clause so contract finishes end of Jan.
Tell me again why any contract is longer than 90-days??

well they had done 10-months of the contract - they should think themselves lucky!
I wish the pilots well in keeping their minds on the job - atleast the 155 tells you if the gear is still up

A helicopter operator should give Perenco 90 days notice, see how they like it 😬

So it is the second contract that NHV/Dancopter loses in less than a year, cancelled with the absolute minimum of notice period. Not because the contract was mishandled, but simply because of a clause in the contract made it possible.

Wonder what signal it sends as a whole to the heli operators in the NS?

Investing in new helicopters due to specific client requirement on payload, flight safety, etc...

Investing in equipment in the helicopters, due to the same client have such or such a high standard....

Investing in hangar, office facilities....

Employing on long term basis.....

Training old/new pilots/engineers, TRs etc.....

The list goes on....

For NHV/Dancopter this Shell/Perenco thing must be considered as a huge offence/disrespectful act.
