Best method/platform for selling my Enstrom 480B ?

I am thinking of selling my privately-owned Enstrom 480B (I'm based in the UK), and wondering what is the best/most efficient selling method - not ever having done this kind of thing before.
My options seem to be:

- Advertise it on a specialist website like controller.com
- Advertise it in Helidata
- Ask a dealer/broker to sell it on my behalf (they will, of course, want a significant percentage)

Does anyone have any experience, advice and/or tips about selling a helicopter privately?

Personally I'd say try Helidata first as you are UK based and selling in country is the lowest risk option.

I think a nice 480B should be quite sought after at the right price. It's the perfect entry level turbine for many private owners - fairly new, safe, comfortable, nice cabin, fun and easy to fly - hardly any negatives .

Eastern Atlantic seem to sell quite a few, but they would want their margin. Helidata or FlyQ? Or ask Dennis Kenyon, he's a big fan of the 480B.

Hi,
PM me the details if you do list it. I know a former 480B owner who regretted a trade up to 120B and another guy looking for one over here.

Thanks,

Eastern Atlantic are the best method by far . I have sold an MD500 and a 480B through them and they were excellent. I would guess that more 500,s and Enstroms have been sold by them than all the other brokers put together. If you want to trade up to a 109 mine is going very cheap ..!!!!

...or if you want to trade down to an old piston,I'd love to fly one!(Not a plug for HeliData).

480B for sale

Or you could PM me (138 Enstrom models sold) ... I'm currently training a client on the 280C and his solid intention is to move on to the turbine once PPL qualified. Regards to all. Dennis Kenyon.

PS. Any guys on here want my absolutely immaculate Cessna 182Q version. And I do mean immaculate. (In the low fifties) Standing by for deletion!
