World Helicopter Day 2015
Extending the invite for any company or organisation that wants to hold an Open Day on World Helicopter Day (16th Aug) to submit their event details on the website {I'll add URL if Mods can give the ok} and I can add them to the world site.
There are some downloads for event organisers so you aren't going from a complete standing start. A 'fill in the blank' media release will be added for download soon that you can take and copy.
The day is an excuse/opportunity to open your doors and generate some local media publicity and public exposure. There are several open days planned around the world on the day so should be a bit of fun.
Happy to field any questions and help out if you do want to be involved through your own event.

- "Two Sides of Safety" with Stan Rose, Director of Safety Outreach
MedEvac Foundation International:
- with the 2015 Great American Safety Drive
Nick Lappos, Sikorsky Senior Technical Fellow:
- "Test Pilot Tales"
Nikolaos Kanellos, MedTrans Safety Officer
- "Considerations in Preparing a LZ"
Fly-in Demos and Displays:
- MedTrans with the Mid-Atlantic MedEvac Flight Team
- Air Methods with the JeffStat Flight Team
- Delaware State Police
St. Christopher's Hospital for Children
- with their Specialty Transport Team
Whirly-Girls International - with Secretary, Jessica Kanellos
Penn Medicine Chester County:
- with their Chest Pain Center teaching early signs of heart attack and hands only CPR
Local Police, Fire Department and YMCA:
- with safety promotions and demonstrations
Liberty Helicopters:
- HELICOPTER RIDES @ $50/adult, $40/child
Dutch Country Helicopters:
- with a Flight Instruction information booth
