If you'd flown that airframe Cows Getting Bigger...you wouldn't have had to go off on a tangent on how to fly it...

Thanks for the link. Sobering report. Been >30 years since I flew a Jet Ranger. I am trying to sort out whether or not the investigators felt that the gusty wind was the major contributor to the mast bump, or a maneuver directly preceding it all going wrong ... probably need to read it again over a coffee and do some back of the napkin sketching of the described behavior of the helicopter as reported by the witness.
