2014/15 Australian Fire Season Fleet

Hi All

Has anyone seen a list of the airframes allocated to the new fire season in Oz - if so I would be grateful for the link.

national register

Victoria is trying to rebuild NSCA and will rent just about anything with rotors or wings for a try.

There is a national callsign register on the National Aerial Firefighting Centre website. This link might work. click on callsign register.

I thought we had nearer 115 about ten years ago? It's certainly taking off early again in NSW, needless to say the Vic news media treat it as a page 8 filler

It's a shame to see so many 206B's and L1's and so few 407's on that list.

Sir HC,
jetbox mostly used for observation, not much bucketing. Late model Longrangers may be used with a bucket. Not that many 407's in oz. Mostly squirrels of varios types and slowly growing B3 fleet.
