Bruce Taylor, SPRS
I received the sad news this morning that Bruce Taylor has passed away after a very short battle following a recurrence of his cancer.
For many Melbourne pilots Bruce was well known as the Sergeant at Sorrento Police Station who would, when called, close the nick and walk next door to fly the Southern Peninsular Rescue Squad LongRanger.
A true gentleman who always made visiting pilots feel welcome. A small single malt in memory of you, Bruce.

He will be missed by all Victorians who lived on the Peninsula in the 80's and the late 90's. I enjoyed his company not only flying and winch training but just watching the sunset with a cold one on the sorrento hill top.
