I flew in this unit in the early 90's. I believe there is a similar video available showing the same thing happening in a USAF hangar. They didn't open the doors and that hangar was filled up to the roof and every square foot in between.

Anyway its fun to see an article about what was then A company - 1-245 Special Operations Aviation Regiment. Not sure what the unit in called these days. Cheers to any fellow 'Lunar" folks.

I think its a very good idea to have a suppression kit like that.
It could save a lot of money and kit if there was an actual fire.
All hangars should have them.
