1962 RAeS garden party

One for the old timers....!Can anyone recall where this was held?
Trying to trace origin of a photo which shows a helicopter there with a very nice mansion in the background, almost certainly in the Hants ,Berkshire, Surrey area.

Garden party

Happy days they indeed were ... but yours truly was less than happy on the day as while batting for the Ripley Village cricket team and half way to a century (runs not years!) ... the steady stream of 'blitter bats' landing at the Hon CF Hughsden's mansion on the other side of the boundary fence, quite wrecked my concentration and subsequent score. Good excuse to have though! Dennis K.

The well-connected Charles Hughesdon's rarish autobiography 'Flying made it happen' covers his life in aviation insurance with some surprising detail........think he got a helicopter license late in his flying career (and crashed one?)
