MIU Events??? Where has Alan Perry Gone?
Hi All,
Have any of you been affected by the recent fraud operated by MIU Events Ltd (Alan Perry - CEO)?
He has taken money from hundreds of companies to exhibit at the ROC2014 Battersea Heliport and also BAE2014 Biggin Hill ... and neither event happened ... he has disappeared along with the money. Any information is appreciated. This matter is being dealt with by the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau.

I have heard today from a reliable source that Alan Perry is in the process of buying a property for CASH in France. I am awaiting details of property address and estate agent.
Flight Global and hopefully The Times are investigating.
Blue Sky News has withdrawn all references to him and his company.
Companies House have issued a Notice to strike off company.
Metropolitan Police have confirmed this is a case for fraud.
National Fraud agency are investigating.
MIU Registered office vacated in February 2014 leaving debts and unpaid rent.
Apricot House address also rented and vacated with unpaid debts.
He's a hard man to track down.
Will update when I know more.

Flight Global on-line magazine has done an investigative piece into the MIU Events and Alan Perry Situation, proving beyond a doubt he has taken money from HUNDREDS of people and disappeared without an explanation to his debtors!

Hmmm....I doubt he has defrauded"hundreds of companies" as mostly the reason he ran was because he couldn't make the events stack up. The last ROC in 2013 had ...what....a dozen or so exhibitors ?
I am not defending him however.....individual companies have lost four figure sums and the industry can do without characters like this.

MIU Events - Insolvency
Hi All,
Latest update. I have received important information today regarding claims against MIU Events and Mr Alan Perry.
Mr Perry has engaged the services of an insolvency company … details below.
Mr Perry is claiming the following:
MIU Events is in the process of being placed in voluntary liquidation.
Following a tough trading climate throughout the recession and the decision taken by London Biggin Hill airport not to assist or support this year's Business Aircraft Europe (BAE), MIU Events has filed for voluntary liquidation.
The decision not to run this year's BAE was outside the control of the organisers. Alan Perry, the chairman of MIU Events has invested over £200,000 of his own capital in the business and has paid staff and suppliers out of his own pocket. Another investor has also contributed over £70,000 but the cancellation of this year's event tipped the business over the edge.
The MIU Events website is no longer operating and we cannot receive emails addressed to MIU Events. Contrary to reports on some blogs, Alan Perry is based in the UK and there has been no impropriety on his part or any of the MIU personnel.

We have been taken for a ride too...
My company in Singapore is owed $10,000 (roughly £5,000) by MIU Events, too… so I would be grateful for any information as to the whereabouts of Alan Perry. I lived in France for 20 years and have a huge network there, so if there is any tracking down to be done, or help needed from lawyers or the police, I can do this… Grateful for any information!

MIU Events has engaged an insolvency company. They are claiming to have NO money and claim to owe nothing ..... they are winding up .... and I guess he will start over and do it again.

All I can advise is NOT to enter into any financial arrangement with him whereby you part with money ..... he owes thousands!!!!!
MIU Events is his 2nd failed company that has gone insolvent since 2007.

If you require help, please refer to previous post from me. MIU Events has approached insolvency company HJS and is proposing to wind-up with claim they have no money, also that they owe nothing, a large porkie as he owes thousands!!!! The details of insolvency company are on previous post. You can also report him to Action Fraud via the Met ..... email me if you would like help and information.

Can you provide me with any further details of his illegal activities. I met with him a few weeks ago and he looked as if he was homeless. Unshaven and hollow.Still speaking of trips to Russia /Singapore etc.......... We were suspicious it was all talk.
