I went Wednesday...

My disappointment was that the rather sweet lady in the short leather dress was with someone else!

Some nice helicopters but she was the show stopper for me

AW on the flightline

Managed to go up in the AW189 from the flightline at the stadium on the wednesday and nice to see the AW609 fly again (last time I saw one was at Farnborough 08)

Cheers

Away from the majors:
  • The low-gear 407 in the static display was something different (given the preference these days for high-skids)
  • As was the rotorhub table on the Able stand
  • As was the JFTD12A cutaway on the newly rebranded Erickson stand
  • The HFI Heritage display (AH-1G, UH-1B gunship & Bell 47J) was well done
  • Quasimodo would be proud of the latest Eagle 407HP design change
  • Last but not least, the Avinco stand had a certain appeal...

...though Harrison did briefly change his mind about lending the aircraft to PAC for the show...

Also nice to see Chuck Aaron and his 105 in the static display (can of Red Bull duly signed!)

Well, I was going to post a video, but it seems someone already beat me to it (that's my footage in the Vertical video). If you'd like to see more pics you can check out my album here: https://www.facebook.com/airbornepro...sinternational
